Home Saver Kit was founded by licensed general contractor Rick Koenig, who has spent more than 48 years responding to residential and commercial emergencies.
Throughout his career, Rick repeatedly saw preventable damage escalate simply because homeowners didn’t know:

- Or how to act under stress
Instead of continuing to repair the aftermath, he designed a system to prevent it.
The first Home Saver Kits were created in 2002 and shared with friends, family, and community members. Hundreds of early versions are still protecting homes today.
